UPDATE v1.1: Added small notches to make putting the links together easier.
My take on Bogdanko's design. This camera case mounts onto any flat sheet metal part of your printer, like the Z-axis enclosures or the frame. The links enable you to lengthen the assembly and position the camera in numerous ways. Mounting the camera on the Z-axis enclosure has the added benefit that the camera moves up as your print comes along and ensures that you always have a good view.
If you print this in PLA you will find that the strength of the joints weakens after a few weeks as the PLA relaxes and the camera has a hard time holding it's position. This can be solved by adding a few drops of super glue into the joint and continuously moving it while the glue dries. This permanently makes the inside of the joint very sticky and stiff and so the camera stays in position again while it can still be moved at will.
