Vacuum Attachment - Dog Brush

I have a German Shepherd that sheds a lot. I made my own attachment for my Dyson vacuum to see if I could suck his hair up as I brushed him. My son ended up using the attachments to vacuum the carpet on the stairs. The attachment clipped in nicely to the Dyson, it did suck up a lot of hair, but a good rake will do just as good. With the finer teeth brush, my son managed to break two teeth off on the carpet. He claims he does not know how he did it, but I suspect it was the side to side motion where they are weak.
