Vacuum Bag Valve Tool

I got a batch of vacuum bags that I was really struggling to get an initial vacuum started. I discover if I gently inserted the tip of my forceps in the valve I could break the initial seal and get my vacuum pump working. It is tricky to do and not damage the valve. So I created this tool that is much gentler and easy to use. From the inside of the new vacuum bag gently insert the tip of the tool flatly in the opening of the valve, plate side up and embossed text down.Insert the tool a little further until the tool reaches the U shaped cuts of the valve and wiggle slightly until you can see the cuts open up.Remove the tool and proceed with normal use of the vacuum bag.
