Vacuum Cyclone Separator

I designed this for my CNC carving machine to catch most of the sawdust before it reached my vacuum cleaner. It mounts to the top of a container; I used a 5 gallon bucket with a sealed lid. Print using a tough material like PETG. It does require about 1 kg of material!

The vacuum ports are scaled for 2 inch diameter vacuum hoses. The bolt holes are for 1/4 inch or 6mm.

Update: added a photo of the collection bucket full of dust collected from the CNC router. My vacuum uses bags and the bag would have filled three times without the separator in-line with the CNC router.
