This orientation ensures dimensional accuracy and provides a smooth finish at the nozzle end. PLA works well for light household use, while PETG or ABS is recommended if you need a stronger or more heat-resistant part. A wall thickness of 2–3 perimeters provides sufficient strength without unnecessary material usage. Supports are generally not required, but may be added depending on your printer’s overhang performance.
