I bought one of the SainSmart Filament Storage Bag [Vacuum Pump](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MVNP6RT) Jonathan Levi [recommended](https://youtu.be/rGnbgI8WRxo?t=534) on [The Next Layer](https://www.youtube.com/@thenextlayer) but the pump didn't actually suck the air out of the vacuum storage bag he recommended.
A shop vac was big, noisy, and sucked the air out of the bag in about 1 second.
When I tried using the small SainSmart pump, by comparison it seemed to do nothing. But that's because I wasn't using it right.
I solved the problem by printing this simple adapter in flexible filament that lets the SainSmart pump stick to the nipple of the bag like a leech. That way I can use my two hands to quickly squeeze the bulk of the air out of the bag, and then the SainSmart pump can suck out the rest of the air in about 30 seconds.
It's a customizer, so you can measure your bag nipples and your vacuum pump. 2mm walls were all I needed.
