The vaccumformer 2.0

This vacuumformer is designed to have easy acces to material that is suitable. Plastic plates are available in almost every store. The diameter of the plates is very common (220mm). The use of whole plates in stead of cut-outs is easier and the shrink nice around the object. I use a heat-gun to heat the plate and then let the vacuumcleaner do the rest.

DXF:
green = out of focus laserlines to create shallow, but relatively wide channels. These are needed to suck out all the air to the holes in the plate. It is lasercut first en then in the same position cut out the holes (given in black)
blue = 3,0mm plywood
black = 6,0mm plywood
