While browsing the antique store, I came across some old spice rack that would have worked great for my paint bottles. But it was too wide and the openings were not right. So that inspired this model after a few iterations.
When designing my end goals were:
- Must print without supports
- Must use minimal filament
- Must be light to move around
- Must fit on most print beds ( 200 x 200)
- Must assemble without requiring glue
- Must be stackable
- Must be configurable for multiple size bottles
- Lean bottles enough as to allow the most bottle rows per height
My end result was flat panels, with gravity self locking tabs (as used in acrylic enclosures).
There are 2 front panels which lean at 12 degrees: One for Vallejo 17ml bottles (26mm) and one for Vallejo 60ml bottles (36.5mm, which also fits Apple Barrel paints).
- This is designed to fit snugly and based on your machine's tolerances you may need to file the openings.
- You may mix and match each row as you des
