note: the v2 files have more forgiving dimensions for the cable pass through channel.
I've modified my original design ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3886099 ) for those who are looking for something a little different. There is nothing wrong with the original version, but this provides some improvements and a different aesthetic. Important changes are below in **CAPS**.
The design keeps the mount, HMD, and controllers close to the wall because I didn't want it to stick out very far. Controllers can be easily grabbed or stored by placing hands naturally into them, even with your headset on.
**CONTROLLERS MOVED ABOVE HMD IN THIS VERSION. STORAGE POCKET ADDED TO TOP OF MOUNT FOR MICROFIBER CLOTH, CABLES, STRAPS, ETC.**
The slotted HMD docking mechanism prevents the headset from being able to twist off the mount or be accidentally knocked off. HMD lenses are also protected from light and dust due to the mount's orientation.
**MODIFICATION FOR EASIER DOCKING ADDED TO THIS
