It is separated into three plates so that it can be printed easily. I think after many tests and small alterations, I have come up with a really good profile for this. I sacrificed a little bit of time to get a more durable, better quality result that can be handled fairly rough, haha.    Changes: I was able to get rid of the slight line that ran down the middle when printed. No more removing a mess of supports from the inside. The handle has been changed/re-oriented. This uses a bit more supports, but it provides a clean connection to the bottom of the hammer. I have printed lots of these for friends and family, and we had a few break off at that point. This change seems to end up with a sturdier hammer. The “top cap” has had the lettering removed. At 75%, the quality suffered, and this just provides a cleaner look, especially with a textured plate. I replaced the bottom cap with a different design, that sits flush with the side of the handle.
