If you don't want to deal with the potential plastic contamination of a proper distributor in the chamber then this will help. It also means you can fit a bit more into the hopper without risking spilling it over the edge.Print with a little higher infill if you care about surface quality, otherwise 5% gyroid is fine because it's hidden anyway. Doesn't need much strength at all.
