My first thingiverse upload, please be gentle if I've messed up.
A system for dealing with cardboard miniatures that are supposed to be flying where you might want variable heights. The flying stands socket into the pawn bases.
The sizing was determined by what worked on my Micro3D printer, using their Tough 3D ink. I imagine if tolerances were too tight or loose, you could adjust it by scaling the stands up or down a percentage point or two.
So far, I've provided 4 different stand heights, short, medium, tall, and "hover". If you wanted something taller, I don't think it would compromise things much to scale the z-axis up.
On the Micro3D, these are all printable without any supports.
As I print out miniatures, I'll try to put similar sockets in their bases, so that I can just stick them on top of the same stands.
Other things I've created that have compatible sockets in the base:
- [Curved Paper Miniature Base](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2260803)
