This is a different version of the old Noctua desk fan seen elsewhere.
I had two 12 volt 80mm muffin fans left over from a teardown and decided to use both in this design.
One part adapts the two fans together and has the main GoPro mount underneath since most of the weight is centered in that area.
The front part has a second mount on it in case it is built with just one fan.
The two parts were designed based on measurements from the fans I had.
Looking at the original design, it seemed there would be some turbulence as a result of the four venturi air streams drawn into the center.
I added a center cone to help direct the flow forward, hopefully to reduce any wasted energy.
With the assembled fan located seven feet away, I could still feel the air flow on my face.
It works surprisingly well.
I combined this with the GoPro tripod I previously designed.
