Vernier Caliper Cover

I love my vernier calipers, and I normally have them standing up in a pen holder. Trouble is sometimes I reach over to get something and will brush against the caliper jaws, resulting in a nasty scratch because the jaws are pretty sharp. Also the jaws are the precision surfaces, so they should rightfully be protected if the calipers are not in a case. So I created these caliper covers to slip over my calipers while they are not being used, and solve both of my problems. No more accidental scratches on my arm, and I know the jaws are well protected too! The cover slips on the larger jaws, and snaps over the smaller jaws behind. To remove, simply pull off the cover from the small jaws, then slide off the large jaws!
