Vertical Single Hung Window Parts

Parts for a single hung vertical sliding window.

I made these to repair a window in the house where the original nylon balance shoe had broken at the bottom. The balance shoe is the part that slides in the window track and the bottom of the window pane hangs on. It also includes the rotating pivot block that the window seats into and locks the shoes in place. You will need the original metal bracket that the window rod attaches to. Note that to get this block in (and the old one out) I had to cut an opening in the very top of the window track where the sash stops are. While this was annoying, it's better than replacing the entire window.

Additionally I created replacement parts for the top track pane guides which are pointed and let you unlatch the top and tilt the window inward for cleaning or screen removal. The bases are the same for both sides as are the handles. The latch for each side is different.

The only additional part required are the small springs for the top pane latche
