I designed this small, variable vice to be able to work on FDM printed parts better - re-drilling holes etc. There are two types of components, rectangular straight e.g. a cube and undefined organic e.g. a rabbit. And because everyone has a different rabbit - a different problem - you can design and print your own jaws. You can make the vice longer and if it is too light, you can pour the three silver parts with resin (print gyroid filling).

You have to print 7 pieces and everything else you can get at the hardware store of your choice. This is the shopping list:

- threaded rod M8 mm – 1x 150 mm
- tube Ø 16 mm (aluminium/steel) – 2x 150 mm
- nuts M8 mm – 3x DIN 912
- washer M8 mm – 2x
- screws 4 x 40 mm imbus – 4x DIN 912
- screws 6 x 55 mm imbus – 4x DIN 912
- screws 6 x 90 mm imbus – 2x DIN 912
- magnet 3 x 1.5 mm – min 8 x
- nut drive for 13 mm – and a grip?
