Viking Spear from the Lendbreen Ice Patch

Recovered from the Lendbreen icepatch southern Norway in 1974, this spear was so well preserved that it's discoverer, Per Dagsgard of Norway, was able to use its shaft as a walking stick!

Believed to date all the way back to the 8th century, it is one of many such artifacts recovered from the ice.

This piece is scaled to a 4mm shaft, specifically, a bbq skewer.
