An open source volumetric peristaltic pump developed as a low cost alternative to expensive laboratory grade volumetric pumps and peristaltic pumps. This device was developed during my analytical chemistry undergraduate research. It features volumetric and continuous delivery modes with accuracy of less than 1% error when delivering a volume if correctly calibrated.
This pump features:
continuous & volumetric delivery modes
variable flow rate 0.5 - 24mL/min
direction control
blowout for operation with a micropipette tips to reduce error between deliveries
interface with LabView over serial port
Most of the parts for this project can be printed without support, however there are 4 parts that require support for printing.
These are:
pump front
pump back
tubing clamp
tensioning fixture
The operation of this device uses a rotary
