Vortex Solo 10x36 Monocular Cap

I've had this Vortex Solo Monocular on my belt for over two years now. I made the initial cap for it from a rubber cap I had laying around that happen to fit. I don't know why it doesn't come with a cap for the eye piece. It only came with an awkward tight fitting soft case that didn't easily let you use the belt clip. I work on an airport and like to see what's flying around or going on in far away areas. It also helps to read tail numbers to add to my collection. So since it pretty much goes everywhere with me and I am constantly outside working in a dusty industrial environment I want to protect that glass.

The cap is designed with slots that taper at the end to grip the nubs on the focus ring. The inner diameter of the cap is made to snug up to the rubber knurling on the focus ring to provide additional grip. With both of these features I can handle the scope once removed from my belt by the cap without it dropping it(though for the safety of the equipment I wouldn't recom
