VW Up! Door Insert Replacement

The plastic insert of my VW Up! door frame was dismantled, so I decided to design a replacement to prevent dirt falling into this hole. If it's too slack apply a little glue.

By the way: If someone knows the technical purpose of this recess please let me know.
