So we had a Cintique 27QHD laying around and noone was using it because the ExpressKey Remote was not wokring. It was not turning on and charging did not show any signs of life.
Quick google showed similar issue had accoured to other users and only solution was to get a new remote.
Opened up the back and the battery was completely dead. Replaced it with a different 3.7v Li-po that was a bit thicker and guess what, remote was back to normal and worked fine. This time with 1000mAh battery instead of 780mAh :P.
However it was thicker by 2.5mm than the original and I could not put the backplate on that hold the PCB in place due to it so I printed a spacer for the backplate with a cutout for the battery.
Stupid that Wacom did not repair these remote and just made users buy a new remote which costs 100+$ just because of a 4$ battery gone dead. Not cool, Wacom.
