This solution is a table-top signage system that uses a controlled "flip" motion to display service requests.🛠️ Technical Breakdown & Smart Locking MechanismThe design evolved through a rigorous iterative process, focusing on Compliant Mechanisms and User Interaction:The Hook & Tension System: To prevent the sign from rotating unintentionally, I integrated a Manual Latch (Hook).Elastic Support: The mechanism uses a small rubber band to provide constant tension, keeping the hook securely engaged.User Interaction: To flip the sign, the user simply pulls down the hook to release the lock, allowing the sign to rotate smoothly.Innovative Flexure Hinge: The sign
