I like the size and management of the TP-Link EAP655-Wall, however, I did not have an ethernet jack where I wanted to mount it. I created this block with a hanger recess to provide space for the part of the access point that normally would go inside the wall if you mount it to an outlet box.
This spacer has a recess for the cable to run out the bottom, and screw holes for mounting the EAP655-Wall the way you normally would. I used a 90-degree ethernet cable to have a lower profile and cleaner space behind it for hanging on the wall.
