I couldn't find any complete designs on here, so I cobbled together several different files and made some changes to come up with this roll up green screen for my office. Obviously this will work the same for any fabric backdrop.
Print:
2x Spacer
2x 608 Bearing Holder
1x Upper Pulley
2x Lower Pulley Pieces
Materials Needed:
-Green Screen
-Large Dowel Rod
-1/4" threaded rod & 1/4" nuts
-3/16" drill bit
-2 608zz Bearings
-a few misc wood/decking screws
-12ft beaded pull chain
To put it together. . .Install Bearings in Printed Bearing holders.
Slide Green Screen onto Wood Dowel Rod, and attach. I used small screws, but upholstery tacks, staples, etc will work. Just need to make sure the screen doesn't spin on the dowel rod when you try to roll it up.
Drill 3/16" hole in the center of each side of the wooden dowel rod. (Make sure it's a centered as possible or it will wobble, but should still work fine either way)
Screw in 1/4" threaded rod into each sid
