Wall Thickness Example

Just a simple example with some models that were built using multiples of certain thickness when offset. Each chip was offset by "0.##*5" with ## being the number on the chip. For example, the 37 chip has 1.85mm thick walls, and the 44 chip has 2.2mm thick walls. This is also observable using the measuring tool on the straight walls. The point is to play with the wall thicknesses and observe which chip has the most uniform wall thickness, if it prints more or less walls than expected, etc. This is an educational example of how using different thicknesses in the modelling process can produce stronger and faster prints by sometimes using slightly different geometry. As I have no intention of printing this and do not wish to upload an unproven model, please feel free to use the 3MF in the file section for a pre-sliced version.
