Needed a way to mount a Raspberry PI to run NanoDLP, thats how the front plate was born.
Then there was no need to have the single USB cable outlet in the back, nor the HDMI connector, so redesigned the backplate too, to hold a RJ45 keystone, and as i was redoing it anyway, it was easy to incorporate a 2 slot USB plate mount and connect that to the RPi
And i have a few ideas on expansion, so i included a rotary encoder, a few 3mm leds and a GX12-5 connector
The hole for the GX12 connector have a center tab, that needs to be removed, i used it to mark the front metal plate where i need to drill the hole for the connector
To power the RPi i got a DC-DC Step down, connected it to the PSU, adjusted it for 5v and then connected it to the RPi - is mounted to the PSU with doublesided tape. But after it all got assembled i could see that i actually did have room to mount it over the LCD. That might come in a future version. Same with a small speaker..
Parts needed:
Dual USB Pane
