I am just so tired of no fan inside Wanhao drybox 2 - actually all kind of filament dryers needs a Fan to mixing the hot air inside the drybox.
Wanhao drybox 2 have actually a prepared 12V fan slot mounted on the board for the screen as starts when you push the start button on the screen.
I made a dual 40x40x10 fan holder for backside of the screen.
For this modification you need:
4pcs - M3x25mm hex screws
4pcs - M3x20mm hex (the originally screws for the metal backplate must be reused for the Fans)
8pcs - M3 nuts
2pcs - 4010, 12V fans
1pcs - XH2.54 2pin female plug
2pcs - Wirecrimps for XH2.54 plug
Use as minimum a filament which can withstand at least 80-85 degrees!! - Better to be safe! I have used Polymaker PC lite (120 degrees) but recommend at least ABS/ASA or HT PETG (high temp PETG, 100 degrees).
Mine is printed on Zortrax M200 plus
3 walls
30% infill
4 bottom
7 top
