No lights? Not so handy in the dark to quickly check if the printer is doing everything right without turning on the room lights, waking up the child and upsetting your wife.
You are helping yourself with that!
Just buy a small Led-Strip with 12 v. Pull a cable from the existing wiring harness down into the electronics of your printer.
On the motherboard it has a slot (12-24V) to which the floor fan is connected. Cut the cables of the fan and solder the two cables of your Led-Stripes to it. Then solder two more cables to it, preferably with a suitable connector for the motherboard and plug it into the slot on the motherboard. Fan and Led will be supplied by the same port.
Stripping the insulation is certainly not a bad idea either. Otherwise, instead of an awake, screaming child and an angry woman, you will have a burned down house.
The print file only fits my LED stripe, but you can easily adjust the cutout yourself. The whole thing can be mounted directly on the fan g
