Since I find tracking model wounds with dice and external markers tedious, I have designed a base that has an integrated number dial which might be used to do just that. Using the customizer you should be able to generate both round and oval bases.
The dial and base top are connected together with an integrated, snap-fit peg, however there is also an option to generate a 3-part design where the peg is a separate part that has to be pushed into the top and possibly glued in (depending on the tolerances on how it prints out).
Additionally an extra hole in the center can be generated so that you can slot in a magnet there.
As an extra feature (which I actually needed in the first place), there is an option to generate a clip for a cardboard standee and a hole in the base top to glue it in. This way you can use this base in board games or if you fancy cardboard wargaming miniatures.
I've attached several generated STLs for common base sizes.
