I've never liked the integrated bases and thin little grey plastic things that seem to come with all models from a certain manufacturer (they makes some great games though!). I used to always clip off the integrated base and then glue the feet to a more standard type of wargaming base, but I thought it was time for a different solution as I have a batch of Judge Dredd models to sort out and couldn't be bothered with the hassle of that again.
1. Print base
2. Drop model into base
3. Apply texture paint to fill the gap
4. Paint as normal, model done! :-)
The ones I've printed in the pictures were done on an Ender 3 using Cura 4.4.1 and the default settings for Super Quality (0.12 layer height).
