Water bottle Rocket Launcher

This is a launcher that I designed based on a Clark cable tie launcher as originally described by Ian Clark in his page here http://hazchem.smoke.com.au/~ic/cable-tie.html

The printed files assemble onto a PVC launch pad of your own design and use cable ties to retain the water bottle until launch. The cam pictured was laser cut from acrylic and bent into shape but I've included a printable version here. Some very excited pilots will yank very hard on the pull cord so a breakaway cord or magnetic latch can be used to keep the launcher from being pulled too.
