Water Compass

Earth produces a magnetic field and has a north and south magnetic pole. A water compass can point towards these poles because the magnet is floating and allowed to freely rotate in the water in order to align itself with Earth's magnetic fields. This Water compass is simple to print and comes in single color or multi color options. The multi clolor option does not require an AMS — just a simple filament change. Just add your 10mm x 3mm magnet, gently place it in a bowl of water and watch it move! Note: You will need to figure out which side of the magnet is the north pole — just change it around if it points south.
