This design is a simple water compass.
Materials:
Glass of water
3D Printed Compass
Small Round Magnet
Hot Glue
Instructions:
Print the 3D compass, glue the magnet with the north face towards the N on the compass, and place compass in a glass of water.

Update:
Slightly modified the design to make it harder to sink.
