Water Pump Sponge Filter Adapter

Using a power cloner or other aquaponics pumps to move water?

A sponge filter is two factor; One, it filters particles from getting into the pump and nozzle emitters, and acts as a bio-filter as a medium for nitrosomonas, nitrobacter, and archaea to grow on.

Take the adapter and use a zip tie to attach some open cell polyurethane foam around the ring. Use hot glue or ultrasonic welding to finish the seam.

If this adapter ring does not fit your pump, the same idea applies. Just use the pump's built in adapter to model a replacement sponge filter adapter... A set of digital calipers is key to this process.
