Water Resistant Case V2

UPDATE: The lid has been redesigned with a rounded 2.5mm ridge that better seals the container. It has been tested at 10 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours without any water entering the case but depends on how well you set up the aquarium tubing. It really should ONLY be used with water resistance, not waterproof, in mind. The original design (before August 12, 2020) would only prevent water from entering the case for about 10 minutes completely submerged.

Here is another iteration of our waterproof/water resistant case project.

It features:

- 3mm thick walls
- stronger hinges
- better latch system
- hook system to utilize cover's volume for separate storage
- loop on exterior for handles or straps.

Print all pieces at 100% infill for maximum strength and water resistance. No supports required.

M3 bolts are used for the hinges 6mm silicone aquarium tubing is used for the seal with a smaller section of tube to connect the cut ends.
