Water Rocket Animeter

My summer project 2022. Goal: To bring a water rocket with a built-in animeter safely back to the ground by parachute. The setup is for PET 1.5 litre bottles from the discounter "Lidl". To soften the impact, there is a squash ball on the tip of the rocket. In my version, the rocket stage is not caught by the parachute, only the load. The parachute has a diameter of 80 cm.

For the animeter I use a TTGO T-Display together with a BME388 to measure temperature and air pressure and separately a MPU6050, or more precisely a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope.
