This was made to try and get waterproof shapes when using PETG.
It uses deliberately imperfect bridging underneath the object to create holes that allow any liquid that gets into the infill to leak out again.
This lets you test 'top layer' waterproofness, letting you choose number of top layers, extrusion width and other settings. Thin side walls test for leakage too.
Item is nice and small(24mm dia, 37mm tall) for fast printing and should scale up well depending on how your printer can handle bridging.
There is a 'curve' version that has a truncated sphere instead of a flat bottom to test top fill, curves and side walls, the full 'cup' in one go. Printed but untested.
See instructions for notes on the effect of surface tension and print settings.
