This was a scale down version of my 7" screen desktop clock built during lockdown so sit on my bedside table. It is design to fit the Waveshare 4.3 inch DSI touch screen specifically and Raspberry Pi 4b.
Standoffs are require to be fitted to the screen so the dimension from the front of the screen to the end of the standoffs measures 50mm exactly. This will position the screen and pi into the cutouts and will ensure the screen is a fluch finish with the case front
I didn't include cutouts for the HDMI as I wasn't interested in using external screens or having bulky cables hanging out of a small case.
I only use Noctua fans as they are extremely quiet and efficient
The MagicMirror software is freely available and fully customizable
https://magicmirror.builders/
I also disabled the LEDs as they shone through the white case at night, and used a cron to dim the screen and night and put it back to full power in the morning
Details of this coding is in the READMEFIRST
