This wavy vase was created using a vase generator and focuses on smooth, continuous geometry to produce a clean, flowing surface with no sharp transitions. The design is optimized for vase-mode (spiralized outer contour) printing, making it fast to print while still achieving a visually appealing result. When printed with appropriate wall thickness and extrusion settings, the model is fully watertight. That said, because the vase is intentionally lightweight and uses a single continuous wall, it may not safely support the dynamic load of water while being carried. For this reason, it’s recommended to place the vase in its final location first and then fill it using a cup, rather than moving it when full. This model is a good candidate for experimenting with different filaments, layer heights, and flow rates, as surface quality and translucency can change significantly depending on material choice. I’m excited to see how others tune their print settings and interpret the design, and I hop
