Weather Vane

Weather Vane to mount on a post or horizontal surface.
To maintain a good balance I used 2x bearings (608ZZ ID 8mm OD 22mm H 7mm) with a spacer in the middle and then locked into place with spacer. You can use 3x bearings if you wish as the spacers are the same height as a bearing, but I wanted less resistance.

The stand offs on the base were intended for a locking collar so the vane would not come detached but the fit is good enough for me. I may end up using them for N E S W letters later on.

Clamp V2 adds water protection to the bearings by adding 2mm top to the bearing cage.
