It is designed it primarily for stop-motion animation, but you can use it however you like. Recommendations:Leave the orientation as-is on studio; especially the securing dowels. Everything is how it should be for maximum stability.Always use this tripod on a level surfaceBefore assembling the tripod, (sliding the pieces together) screw in the camera to the top piece.
