I have added weight inserts for these chess pieces. I love the classic chess set look, but I felt even with a 20% fill, the pieces were too light, and I like a more solid feel.
As you see in the photo, I have a pawn, with the cavity filled with washers, and the disc. I glued the disc to the cavity to close the space of the washers. I then glued the opposite side to the pawn. This 2mm extra space gives a bit more stability to the piece. With the three washers, it is very nice and heavy. Don't forget to glue them too, this will keep them from potentially sliding around depending on how much gap there is with your print.

Method
1. Print the appropriate amount for your chess pieces
16 pawns
4 rooks
4 knights
4 bishops
2 queens
2 kings
2. Insert 3 18mm washers inside the cavity. I glued mine inside. The size I calculated for is 18mm (outside diameter) x 1.5mm thick. These are pretty standard sizes
