This is my version of i3 printer. The main goal was strong metal frame and as simple as possible construction. Frame is welded from 20x20 square steel tube, Y axis is Anet A8 stile, because it is simplest to make, and X and Z axes are fully compatible with Prusa MK2. You need only z-axis-bottom, z-axis-top, y-motor, y-idler, y-holder, y-endstop and footstep files, all other parts are Prusa MK2 and Anet A8 compatible and freely available in the web.
The lengths of the tubes:
2pcs x 365mm sides
2pcs x 302mm (front, back)
1pcs x 342mm (top)
2pcs x 380mm (z axis)
The lengths of the smooth rods are same as Prusa MK2.
A year ago when I made the printer I had difficulties to find good linear bearings, that's why i created some parts with radial bearings.
