Welding Lens Adapter

Necessity is the mother of creation. If you're here then maybe your lens window broke off, or the type of lens you have doesn't work for your helmet.

I have this type of welding shield https://imgur.com/a/IEXahU1 and while they work great for what they are it's a bit of a hassle working outside and having to flip the window up, finding where to weld next, then flipping the window back down. I happen to have a well used but still sort of working welding shield (https://imgur.com/a/IEXahU1 with a few black spots) and I had it duct taped at first, so I decided to make this adapter to hold it in there. I could probably cut out the slot where the welding glass goes instead but I don't know how long this auto darkening lens will last as it was a garage sale find and it already has some damage.
