Measure your wells water depth. With an ESP32 or Arduino of choice, you can check the water level without any electronics in the well. The function is to push out all the water in a thin tube that runs almost to the bottom (not to stir up small particles). When the tube is filled with only air, stop the pump and measure the pressure in the tube. One Bar equals roughly 10 meters. If you are sure there are no air leakage, you do not need to pump out every time before checking the pressure. You can also check the rms pressure during pumping to be sure when the pressure is not increasing any more and then turn of the pump and read the pressure. So far I only have the code for reading the pressure and convert to meters (the pump just arrived). I checked fuction with a small tire compressor. I will add that code real soon and also the complete code when I am done. I chose a thin tube/hose used to protect optical fiber. The well is 49 meters deep and the pump do not need to work for long to pu
