This is a bolt-on wheelchair footplate with a wrap-around lip to help hold your feet in the proper position with shoes or braces. The lip is to prevent foot slippage to the side or off the front, and the plate is to help prevent drop-foot or pressure sores. Note: This design is not a medical device and is not designed to cure or prevent any medical conditions. It is to make a wheelchair more comfortable for the user. Source: This design is based on the description from this post on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1167507431752389/permalink/1313330133836784/?mibextid=wwXIfr&rdid=XcVPkLin5NzhDKEI# Size: This model is designed to fit any printer with a 250mm/250mm build plate. Works on Kobra S1, but should work on any other printer with an appropriately sized build plate. This model at 100% will fit a size 11 men's shoe Filament: As this foot plate is to be used on a wheelchair that goes outside and experiences the elements, this should be printed with a weather proof and heat proof filament. I chose ASA for printing as it's UV resistent, Weather resistent and will not warp or melt in a hot car. (Other filaments such as PLA would warp in a hot car, and Nylon is water-absorbing, so in humid climates it wouldn't be a wonderful choice). Hardware: This foot plate has 4 slots for running elevator bolts to secure it to your wheelchair's existing footplate. The slots are 8mm with a 1-inch counter-sunk channel to allow the bolts to be flush with the top of the plate. The bolts designed to fit this print are 1/4-20 elevator bolts available at Amazon: https://amzn.to/4mq4BcT Strenght: This model has four 14mm x 2mm x 220mm channels on the interior for optional aluminum support bars. Pause the print to insert pre-cut aluminum bars (I bought 1/16" thick by 1/2" aluminum flat bars at Home Depot and cut them to length). If you feel you don't want the aluminum supports, you can either use Generate Supports to fill the voids or just let them print hollow
