Whirlpool flipper assembly

What I now know is called the “IR flipper” broke on my 2004 Kitchenaid Superba refrigerator/freezer. New ones are absurdly expensive (see, e.g., https://www.kitchenaidparts.com/PartDetail/Cover/WP2198633/826485) , so I designed my own. Check your model number, as some are slightly different.
