This remake of Grid for LED strips w/ clock example (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2930831) by parallyze obtains the time from a Internet Time Server. The Arduino has been replaced with a WeMOS D1 R1 module. An updated Sketch to support a WeMOS and NTP server is included.

I made a PCB board (Eagle files included) using the Toner method but because the circuit is so basic that you can easily just use a piece of proto-board. Using OpenSCAD, I have modified the mounting bracket to allow a PCB board to be screwed onto the back. Drill out the holes with a 2.5mm drill and tap the holes with a 3mm tap. Use M3 x 6mm screws to anchor the PCB.
