These are the files for the *sail and only the sail portion of the wind turbine. The axle diameter this is designed for is 7.9mm. The concept is to offset two sets of three sails which are designed to be aerodynamic and to create maximum lift force with minimum drag. I used 3mm x 3mm balsa wood which pressure fits into the channels and for added security, I would recommend super glue. To cover each wind I initially used duct tape but after some deliberation, I decided to make the pointed end out of thin plexiglass and filled the remaining rounded end with duct tape. The best attachment method I found to attach the wind to the axel was to drill a small hole into the plexiglass (smaller than the balsa wood) then "smoosh" the tip of the balsa wood to fit then hot-glued the connection. The indentations on the axel are used to line up the balsa wood which would be connected to the wing itself. This design has currently not been tested but will be soon within a wind tunnel.
