Wind Turbine

This is my first attempt at designing a wind turbine an thus it lacks power generation features, so really it's much more of a weathervane. Still it's a fun project and adds something to the view in my father's backyard.

construction will require 5x 10mm M3 screws, 5x 20mm M3 screws, 8x M3 nuts, 4x 8x22x7 bearings, and some super glue.

screw holes are interference fit and the bearings are press fit, you made need to trim the edges of bearing holes though depending on print orientation. I glued the blade extensions to the blades, and glued the blades to the blade mount. Using Baking Soda as a kicker helps in these.

4x blade extensions
1x front bearing block
1x back bearing block
1x flywheel
2x washers
1x axle
1x guide fins
1x mount bearing block
1x mount tube
1x mount base
1x nose cone (use supports)
1x blade mount
1x top mounting ring
1x bottom mounting ring
